The Atlanta Soccer community is growing at an astounding rate. New clubs and new organizations are popping up all over the greater Atlanta Area. Many of these Atlanta soccer clubs and organizations are densely located in areas along the perimeter, each scrapping and fighting to compete for players and funding.

THe good news is that this competition between the clubs has been one of the causes for the increase in the quality of training offered throughout the Atlanta Soccer Community. To gain an advantage over a local rival, clubs often seek out the services of former professional players from the USA and various other countries abroad, each looking for that marquee coach with “name recognition” that will hopefully be the difference between their club standing out or just being another face in the crowd. Unfortunately though, having someone with name recognition and pro playing credentials can put a financial burden on the club, one that in turn is usually past down to the public.

The growing costs of playing soccer is a hot point of discussion  throughout the Atlanta Soccer Community. Training at an elite level in any sport in Atlanta comes at a price, but it is in soccer where the quality of training and the fees that are associated with it often seem miss-aligned. High Quality Soccer Training in Atlanta, particularly in the perimeter, has taken on an “elitist” nature and has become in many cases “the game of the few” rather of the masses.
